Too Soon
Flipping through the yearbook
It seems like yesterday
We graduated high school
And went our separate ways
Every day is precious
We’ve often heard it said
The yearbook now affirms it
With faces of the dead
Some were lost to cancer
Some to heart attacks
Some went off to fight a war
And never made it back
So open up your yearbook
Every single day
And thank the Lord for giving you
Another chance to pray
